Three days ago I imposed upon myself to undertake a 30 day video blog challenge in which I post a vlog every day using various video technology, gear, software and apps in a variety of situations to see how it all comes out in the end. Needless to say, the first two days were pretty […]

The REAL value of money in government stimulus spending is essentially ZERO. People get money from the government hell bent on bailing everyone out, only to have that money usurped again via taxation. Follow along in this very brief video I put together that explains what is going on…
This is my 4th or 5th flight ever with the DJI Phantom but the first video I’ve recorded. I still need a lot of practice to get smooth flight movement and I didn’t take a lot of time to edit to the music or work with color correct, brightness or contrast. It is what it […]
Voodoo on the ACA and the blind acceptance of our leadership who decided that we had to, “pass Obamacare before we get to know what’s in it.” which sounds a lot like a case of professional negligence to me.
**Caution, very strong adult language follows… I am just slightly upset by the topic of my Voodoo Hex of the Moment. If you are offended by such language, voodoo to you, too, but you probably need to leave post-haste.** I think it rather ironic that my next Voodoo Hex is going out to bloggers- not […]

I was reminded of just that when one of my very “socially liberal” friends (a former Peace Corps guy) shared with me the image titled, “An Ode to the Welfare State” printed in the Daily News on November 4, 1949, which I have transcribed for you, Dear Reader.
We’ll chalk this one up to historical relevance.

Here is my rant disguised as a marketing lesson or you may also properly attribute this post as a marketing lesson disguised as a rant.
Whatever. You decide. I look forward to your comments.
Two days ago I received an email from Woodman Labs, Inc. d/b/a GoPro (hereafter “GoPro”) asserting that I am infringing upon their intellectual property rights and diluting their brand recognition by registering the URL GoProDivemaster.com.
I’ve got something to say about that, and it begins with, “WTFO?”
